Tips: 15 health benefits of eating apples

Many of us forget that sometimes, the simplest answers are the best. Better health could be as easy as reaching for the fruit bowl for some apples next time you need a snack

15 health benefits of eating apples

What makes apples so great?

In 2004, USDA scientists investigated over 100 foods to measure their antioxidant concentration per serving size. Two apples—Red Delicious and Granny Smith—ranked 12th and 13th respectively. Antioxidants are disease-fighting compounds. Scientists believe these compounds help prevent and repair oxidation damage that happens during normal cell activity. Apples are also full of a fibre called pectin—a medium-sized apple contains about 4 grams of fibre. Pectin is classed as a soluble, fermentable and viscous fibre, a combination that gives it a huge list of health benefits.

1. Get whiter, healthier teeth

An apple won’t replace your toothbrush, but biting and chewing an apple stimulates the production of saliva in your mouth, reducing tooth decay by lowering the levels of bacteria.

2. Avoid Alzheimer’s

A new study performed on mice shows that drinking apple juice could keep Alzheimer’s away and fight the effects of aging on the brain. Mice in the study that were fed an apple-enhanced diet showed higher levels of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and did better in maze tests than those on a regular diet.

3. Protect against Parkinson’s

Research has shown that people who eat fruits and other high-fibre foods gain a certain amount of protection against Parkinson’s, a disease characterized by a breakdown of the brain’s dopamine-producing nerve cells. Scientists have linked this to the free radical-fighting power of the antioxidants contained therein.

4. Curb all sorts of cancers

Scientists from the American Association for Cancer Research, among others, agree that the consumption of flavonol-rich apples could help reduce your risk of developing pancreatic cancer by up to 23 per cent. Researchers at Cornell University have identified several compounds—triterpenoids—in apple peel that have potent anti-growth activities against cancer cells in the liver, colon and breast. Their earlier research found that extracts from whole apples can reduce the number and size of mammary tumours in rats. Meanwhile, the National Cancer Institute in the U.S. has recommended a high fibre intake to reduce the risk of colorectal cancer.

5. Decrease your risk of diabetes

Women who eat at least one apple a day are 28 percent less likely to develop type 2 diabetes than those who don’t eat apples. Apples are loaded with soluble fibre, the key to blunting blood sugar swings.

6. Reduce cholesterol

The soluble fibre found in apples binds with fats in the intestine, which translates into lower cholesterol levels and a healthier you.

7. Get a healthier heart

An extensive body of research has linked high soluble fibre intake with a slower buildup of cholesterol-rich plaque in your arteries. The phenolic compound found in apple skins also prevents the cholesterol that gets into your system from solidifying on your artery walls. When plaque builds inside your arteries, it reduces blood flow to your heart, leading to coronary artery disease.

8. Prevent gallstones

Gallstones form when there’s too much cholesterol in your bile for it to remain as a liquid, so it solidifies. They are particularly prevalent in the obese. To prevent gallstones, doctors recommend a diet high in fibre to help you control your weight and cholesterol levels.

9. Beat diarrhea and constipation

Whether you can’t go to the bathroom or you just can’t stop, fibre found in apples can help. Fibre can either pull water out of your colon to keep things moving along when you’re backed up, or absorb excess water from your stool to slow your bowels down.

10. Neutralize irritable bowel syndrome

Irritable bowel syndrome is characterized by constipation, diarrhea, and abdominal pain and bloating. To control these symptoms doctors recommend staying away from dairy and fatty foods while including a high intake of fibre in your diet.

11. Avert hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids are a swollen vein in the anal canal and while not life threatening, these veins can be very painful. They are caused by too much pressure in the pelvic and rectal areas. Part and parcel with controlling constipation, fibre can prevent you from straining too much when going to the bathroom and thereby help alleviate hemorrhoids.

12. Control your weight

Many health problems are associated with being overweight, among them heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea. To manage your weight and improve your overall health, doctors recommend a diet rich in fibre. Foods high in fibre will fill you up without costing you too many calories.

13. Detoxify your liver

We’re constantly consuming toxins, whether it is from drinks or food, and your liver is responsible for clearing these toxins out of your body. Many doctors are skeptical of fad detox diets, saying they have the potential to do more harm than good. Luckily, one of the best—and easiest—things you can eat to help detoxify your liver is fruits—like apples.

14. Boost your immune system

Red apples contain an antioxidant called quercetin. Recent studies have found that quercetin can help boost and fortify your immune system, especially when you're stressed out.

15. Prevent cataracts

Though past studies have been divided on the issue, recent long-term studies suggest that people who have a diet rich in fruits that contain antioxidants—like apples—are 10 to 15 per cent less likely to develop cataracts.

Celine Dion pregnant with twins

Singer Celine Dion, 42, and husband-manager Rene Angelil, 68, already have a 9-year-old son, Rene-Charles.

Singer Celine Dion is 14 weeks pregnant with twins after years of trying to expand her family, her representative said Sunday.

Dion, 42, and her husband-manager Rene Angelil, 68, will find out next month the gender of their twins, representative Kim Jakwerth said.

The pregnancy was the result of her sixth in-vitro fertilization attempt, Jakwerth said. Dion turned to acupuncture therapy to improve her chances of getting pregnant, she said.

Angelil is the father, she said.

The couple already has a 9-year-old son, Rene-Charles.

The five-time Grammy winner has sold 200 million albums around the world, according to her website. A new Harris Poll released in May named Dion, a Canadian, as America's favorite singer.

Dion, who completed a world tour last year, will return to Las Vegas, Nevada, next March to begin a three-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. -CNN

Tips & Tricks: Create the Toyota logo!

Using the Illustrator!

Hi there. In this tutorial you can learn to create the Toyota logo. It is all about circles and the Pathfinder panel. You will have to create a series of circles of exact dimensions. Regarding that, the grid and the snap to grid option will ease your work.

Difficulty: Intermediate
Estimated Completion Time: 45 minutes
Number of Steps: 20

This is what you’ll be creating:

preview

Step 01

Create a 700 by 700px document. In these first steps you’ll have to create several circles of various sizes. To ease your work turn on the Grids (View > Show Grid) and the Snap to Grid (Vierw > Snap to Grid). You’ll need a grid every 5px. Go to Edit > Preferences > Guides&Grids, enter “5″ in the “Gridline every” box and “1″ in the “Subdivisions” box. Also, open the Info pallete for a live preview with the size and position of each shape. Finally, to change your document’s measurement units turn on the Rulers (Ctrl + R). Right click on the Rulers and select pixels.

Step 02

Select the Ellipse Tool(L) and create a 600 by 370px shape. Continue with the Ellipse Tool(L) and create two new shapes. Follow the dimensions shown inside each shape. I filled them with red and lower the opacity so that you can distinguish them easier. You should also try it so that you can see the grids. If you can’t understand the exact positioning for these shapes you can go to step #5 where you can find a zoomed image.

Step 03

Reselect the Ellipse Tool(L) and create four new circles as shown in the following images. Follow the dimensions shown inside each shape. Duplicate the shape shown in image #3 (Ctrl+C > Ctrl+V). Name this copy “vvv” move it in the bottom of the Layers panel and make it invisible (you’ll neeed it later).

Step 04

Once again, with the Ellipse Tool, create four new circles. Follow the dimensions shown inside each shape..

Step 05

Let’s have another look at all the shapes created so far. You can take a closer look at the grids to understand the exact positioning for each shape.

Step 06

Select the shapes created in step #1 and click on the Divide button from the Pathfinder panel. Keep only the two shapes shown in image #2 (delete the rest) and name them “1″ and “2″.

Step 07

Select the shapes created in step #2 and click on the Divide button from the Pathfinder panel. Keep only the two shapes shown in image #2 (delete the rest) and name them “3″, “4″ and “5″. Select shape “3″ select the top anchor point (with the Direct Selection Tool) and move it a few pixels down. Also, move the handles inwards.

Step 08

Select the shapes created in step #4 and click on the Divide button from the Pathfinder panel. Keep only the four shapes shown in image #2 (delete the rest) and name them “6″, “7″, “8″ and “9″.

Step 09

Once again, let’s have a closer look at the shapes created so far.

Step 10

Select “1″, “3″ and “7″ and click on the Unite button from the Pathfinder panel. Name the resulting shape “Front”, move it in the top of the Layers pallete and fill it with R=241 G=241 B=243. Now, reselect this shape, go to the Appearance panel, add five new fills (from the flyout menu) and use the gradients shown below.

Step 11

Select shape “2″ rename it “Back”, move it below “Front” and fill it with R=210 G=216 B=219. Next, add four new fills (from the flyout menu of the Appearance pallete) and use the gradients shown below.

Step 12

First, create a copy of “Front”. Next, select “4″, “5″, “6″, “8″ and “9″ and click on the Unite button from the Pathfinder panel. Select the resulting shape along with the copy of “Front” and click on the Minus Front button from the Pathfinder panel. Name these new shapes from “1″ to “6″ (as shown in image #3).

Step 13

Fill “1″ and “2″ with the following gradients.

Step 14

Next, you need to slice “5″ and “6″ in four relatively equal shapes. Select the Pen Tool(P) and create two vertical paths (like the red ones shown in image #1). Select these new paths along with “5″ and “6″ and click on the Divide button from the Pathfinder panel. Select the resulting group and ungroup it (Ctrl + Shift + G). Fill the top shapes with the gradients shown below images #2 and #3. Next, select the other two shapes and group them. Select this group, add a new fill (from the flyout menu of the Appearance pallete) and use the gradient shown below image #4.

Step 15

Reselect the Pen Tool(P) and create three new paths (like the red ones shown in image #1). Select these paths along with “3″ and “4″ and click on the Divide button from the Pathfinder panel. Fill the resulting shapes with the gradients shown in the following images.

Step 16

Select “Back” and hit Shift + Ctrl + [ (to move it in the bottom of the Layers panel). Create a copy of this shape then select the Ellipse Tool(L) and create a circle like the one shown in image #1. Select this new shape along with the copy of “Back” and click on the Intersect button from the Pathfinder panel. Fill the resulting shape with R=83 G=91 B=99 lower its opacity to 60% then move it above “Back”.

Step 17

Create two copies of “Back”. Select the top one and move it a few pixels up. Next, reselect these copies and click on the Minus Front button from the Pathfinder panel. Keep only the shape shown in image #2, fill it with white and move it in the top of the Layers panel.

Step 18

Create two copies of “1″. Select the top one and move it a few pixels up down. Next reselect these copies and click on the Minus Front button from the Pathfinder panel. Keep only the shape shown in image #2, fill it white and move it in the top of the Layers panel. Create two copies of “2″. Select the bottom one and move it a few pixels down. Next reselect these copies and click on the Minus Front button from the Pathfinder panel. Keep only the shape shown in image #4, fill it white then move it in the top of the Layers panel.

Step 19

Turn back on the visibility of “vvv” and duplicate it. Select this copy and move it a few pixels down. Next, select both shapes and click on the Minus Front button from the Pathfinder panel. Fill the resulting shape with white and move it in the top of the Layers panel.

Step 20

Duplicate all the shapes created so far. Select these copies and click on the Unite button from the Pathfinder panel. Name the resulting shape “Shadow” and move it in the bottom of the Layers panel. Fill it with white and add a 1px aligned to outsite stroke (R=140 G=150 B=157). Select the fill of this shapes and add the Drop Shadow effect shown below image #1. If you want to enlighten this logo, create a copy of “Shadow” and move it in the top of the Layer panel. Fill it with R=41 G=171 B=226, change its blending mode to Overlay and lower its opacity to 5% (do not forget to erase the drop shadow effect of this copy). Finally, for the background, pick the Rectangle Tool(M) create a 700×700px shape and fill it with the gradient shown above image #4.

Final

Now your logo is done. Here is how it should look like:

How to tips: The 3G Tech

3G is the short form used for third-generation technology. There are few technologies in the history of mankind where there has been so much hype, followed by so much dissapointment, but it looks like the 3G providers have finally got their act together in 2008, and have started delivering the 3G mobile broadband services that we have all been waiting for.

According to wikipedia definition:

3G is the third generation of mobile phone standards and technology, superseding 2G. It is based on the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) family of standards under the International Mobile Telecommunications programme, IMT-2000. 3G technologies enable network operators to offer users a wider range of more advanced services while achieving greater network capacity through improved spectral efficiency. Services include wide-area wireless voice telephony, video calls, and broadband wireless data, all in a mobile environment. Additional features also include HSPA data transmission capabilities able to deliver speeds up to 14.4Mbit/s on the downlink and 5.8Mbit/s on the uplink.

The first country to start 3G service on a great scale was Japan where by 2005 nearly 40% of consumers used 3G network only. With 2G technology becoming outdated in Japan, almost all the 2G networks have now been shifted to 3G networks.

3G gives the ability to transfer both voice as well as non-voice based Data at a much faster level. While marketing 3G services, video telephony is famously referred as a killer application. 3G networks have not been upgraded from 2G networks and do not function on the same frequency spectrum. For 3G services new networks need to be fitted and new frequencies are allocated to the mobile operators.

When you sign up for a mobile broadband deal, you will usually be provided with a USB 'dongle' and a sim card. You will need to insert the SIM card into the dongle and then, when you plug it into your laptop it should self-install. The good thing about the USB dongle solution is that you can install it in a number of machines, so you could take it with you to a meeting and then give it to your partner when they are heading out to a meeting with their own laptop.

Tips on Healthy Eating: Top 10

Experts agree the key to healthy eating is the time-tested advice of balance, variety and moderation. In short, that means eating a wide variety of foods without getting too many calories or too much of any one nutrient. These 10 tips can help you follow that advice while still enjoying the foods you eat.

  1. Eat a variety of nutrient-rich foods. You need more than 40 different nutrients for good health, and no single food supplies them all. Your daily food selection should include bread and other whole-grain products; fruits; vegetables; dairy products; and meat, poultry, fish and other protein foods. How much you should eat depends on your calorie needs. Use the Food Guide Pyramid and the Nutrition Facts panel on food labels as handy references.
  2. Enjoy plenty of whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Surveys show most Americans don't eat enough of these foods. Do you eat 6-11 servings from the bread, rice, cereal and pasta group, 3 of which should be whole grains? Do you eat 2-4 servings of fruit and 3-5 servings of vegetables? If you don't enjoy some of these at first, give them another chance. Look through cookbooks for tasty ways to prepare unfamiliar foods.
  3. Maintain a healthy weight. The weight that's right for you depends on many factors including your sex, height, age and heredity. Excess body fat increases your chances for high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, some types of cancer and other illnesses. But being too thin can increase your risk for osteoporosis, menstrual irregularities and other health problems. If you're constantly losing and regaining weight, a registered dietitian can help you develop sensible eating habits for successful weight management. Regular exercise is also important to maintaining a healthy weight.

  4. Eat moderate portions. If you keep portion sizes reasonable, it's easier to eat the foods you want and stay healthy. Did you know the recommended serving of cooked meat is 3 ounces, similar in size to a deck of playing cards? A medium piece of fruit is 1 serving and a cup of pasta equals 2 servings. A pint of ice cream contains 4 servings. Refer to the Food Guide Pyramid for information on recommended serving sizes.
  5. Eat regular meals. Skipping meals can lead to out-of-control hunger, often resulting in overeating. When you're very hungry, it's also tempting to forget about good nutrition. Snacking between meals can help curb hunger, but don't eat so much that your snack becomes an entire meal.
  6. Reduce, don't eliminate certain foods. Most people eat for pleasure as well as nutrition. If your favorite foods are high in fat, salt or sugar, the key is moderating how much of these foods you eat and how often you eat them.
Identify major sources of these ingredients in your diet and make changes, if necessary. Adults who eat high-fat meats or whole-milk dairy products at every meal are probably eating too much fat. Use the Nutrition Facts panel on the food label to help balance your choices.
Choosing skim or low-fat dairy products and lean cuts of meat such as flank steak and beef round can reduce fat intake significantly.
If you love fried chicken, however, you don't have to give it up. Just eat it less often. When dining out, share it with a friend, ask for a take-home bag or a smaller portion.
  7. Balance your food choices over time. Not every food has to be "perfect." When eating a food high in fat, salt or sugar, select other foods that are low in these ingredients. If you miss out on any food group one day, make up for it the next. Your food choices over several days should fit together into a healthy pattern.
  8. Know your diet pitfalls. To improve your eating habits, you first have to know what's wrong with them. Write down everything you eat for three days. Then check your list according to the rest of these tips. Do you add a lot of butter, creamy sauces or salad dressings? Rather than eliminating these foods, just cut back your portions. Are you getting enough fruits and vegetables? If not, you may be missing out on vital nutrients.
  9. Make changes gradually. Just as there are no "superfoods" or easy answers to a healthy diet, don't expect to totally revamp your eating habits overnight. Changing too much, too fast can get in the way of success. Begin to remedy excesses or deficiencies with modest changes that can add up to positive, lifelong eating habits. For instance, if you don't like the taste of skim milk, try low-fat. Eventually you may find you like skim, too.
  10. Remember, foods are not good or bad. Select foods based on your total eating patterns, not whether any individual food is "good" or "bad." Don't feel guilty if you love foods such as apple pie, potato chips, candy bars or ice cream. Eat them in moderation, and choose other foods to provide the balance and variety that are vital to good health. Thanks to Realtime

Tips & Facts: Hot Presidential affairs

John F Kennedy made love in a closet while telling his mistress about another president who did the same. That President being Warren G. Harding, whose hysterical wife was attacking the secret service agent outside the White House office at the time. Franklin D. Roosevelt had an affair with the first lady’s personal secretary. Lyndon B. Johnson made love to a secretary on the oval office desk. Bill Clinton’s contribution – with ardent assistance by Monica Lewinsky – is well publicized but taking the cake is John F Kennedy, who is said to have smoked marijuana with a nude playgirl while he joked about being too wasted to “push the button” in case of nuclear attack.

Not much is known about the extramarital affairs of US Vice Presidents. Which is kinda odd considering the Vice President has much more time than the President to live up to his title preamble. The Vice President has only one official duty: to preside over the Senate and to cast tie-breaking votes there.

Tips in Using Hand Grenades

The Gripping Procedure

The importance of properly gripping the hand grenade cannot be overemphasized. Soldiers must understand that a grenade not held properly is difficult to arm. Gripping procedures differ slightly for right- and left-handed soldiers.

FM 3-23.30: Right-handed grip
Right-handed soldiers hold the grenade upright with the pull ring away from the palm of the throwing hand so that the pull ring can be easily removed by the index or middle finger of the free hand.

FM 3-23.30: Left-handed grip
Left-handed soldiers invert the grenade with the fingers and thumb of the throwing hand positioned in the same manner as by right-handed personnel.

Throwing

FM 3-23.30: throwing Since few soldiers throw in the same manner, it is difficult to establish firm rules or techniques for throwing hand grenades. How accurately they are thrown is more important than how they are thrown. If a soldier can achieve more distance and accuracy using his own personal style, he should be allowed to do so as long as his body is facing sideways, towards the enemy's position, and he throws basically overhand. There is, however, a recommended method of throwing hand grenades:
  1. Observe the target to mentally establish the distance between your throwing position and the target area. In observing the target, minimize your exposure time to the enemy (no more than 3 seconds).

  2. Remove the safety clip.

  3. Grip the hand grenade in your throwing hand.

  4. Grasp the pull ring with the index or middle finger of your nonthrowing hand. Remove the safety pin with a pulling and twisting motion. If the tactical situation permits, observe the safety pin's removal.

  5. Look at the target and throw the grenade using the overhand method so that the grenade arcs, landing on or near the target.

  6. Allow the motion of your throwing arm to continue naturally once you release the grenade. This follow-through improves distance and accuracy and lessens the strain on your throwing arm.

  7. Practice the necessary throws that are used in combat, such as the underhand and sidearm throws. Soldiers can practice these throws with practice grenades, but they must throw live fragmentation grenades overhand in a training environment. More here

Interesting Animals

God must love animals – He made so many of them!

Some animals are so small that you need a microscope to see them. Others are huge. All are interesting.

There are more than a million animal species. There are 6,000 species of reptiles, 73,000 kinds of spiders, and 3,000 types of lice. For each person there is about 200 million insects. The 4,600 kinds of mammals represent a mere 0,3% of animals and the 9,000 kinds of birds only 0,7%. The most abundant bird species is the red-billed quelea of sub-Saharan Africa, numbering almost 2 billion.

Even so, about one third of animals have been driven to extinction as a result of mismanagement and pollution by the fast-growing human population. Please take good care of the animals around you. Make your garden bird and bee-friendly. Contribute time or money to animal associations wherever possible.

Professional Eyeshadow Application Tips

Eyes are so much fun. There really are not a lot of rules in applying eyeshadow. I’m going to give you tips to some basic outlines.

First, what we’re going to do is, just like in the face, we‘re going to put a base on the eyelids. We’ve already did the eyebrows by strengthening them.

Professional Eyeshadow Application Tips

On the eyelid, use a cream base that you can get from most make-up line. What we’re going to do is tap it in the lids. Remember to use your middle or ring finger and just rub the base in. Putting a based will make your eyeshadow will stick and you won’t have so many sprinkles that often happen underneath your eyes.

The base will make the color stick and it is crease resistant. It has many other benefits too.

So, you should always start with a little bit of a cream eyeshadow first. I chose one that’s a little yellow golden because it goes with most natural look. But there are other colors that you can get, such as a pink and white. You can even use a blue. You can always use a different a base; use whatever makeup line you feel comfortable with.

Anytime, you’re working with a cream, I would recommend using your fingers. If you use a brush, all the brush hair gets really disgusted with the cream. It’s not a sanitary thing, its jut a big mess. I promise you, use a brush one time and you’ll never use it again with a cream.

So, apply the cream with your fingers because it will give you more control. It won’t mess up your pretty brushes too.

Applying the yellow gold base on the entire lid lightens the person up. Now, with whatever color I use on the eyes, it will stay through. Visit here for more.

How to Use Facebook to Drive Traffic to Your Website

Begin Connecting and Driving Traffic to Your Website Using Facebook, Being Authentic and Subliminal Messaging to Your Audience and Friends.

This lense is for people wanting to make a Professional Facebook Profile and to be able to drive traffic and targeted leads to your website with Facebook as it grows by over 5 million users each week. Leverage your efforts and begin connecting with like minded individuals and others seeking your services.

Easy to Follow Facebook Instructions.

These are Tips and Tricks I learned using 5 of my friend's accounts to learn which method works the best

When Creating your Facebook page or revising it to reflect what you have learned here begin by being yourself and truly filling out ALL and I mean ALL of the profile information to the best of your abilities. Make sure you select your 1-3 websites you wish to drive traffic to and be sure not to disguise them. These websites should be your personal blog, your hubpages profile, Twitter Profile, YouTube Channel, but NEVER an affiliate link or lead capture page.

In your Profile be sure to include quirky true things about yourself and stray away from making your interests generic. People want to know you for who you are while they are visiting and this may be your first time ever meeting this person.

Keep your Facebook feed clean and clear of any sales pages, business opportunities, or Body by Vi Challenges no matter what your Up-Line or company wants you to do. People are immediately turned off ( I know because I have run tests on different accounts with over 1,000 friends on them and have seen none of my friends ever join these opportunities)

Build your credibility on Facebook immediately by connecting with old friends, classmates, and leaders in your field and begin a conversation with them. Social media is meant to be social and should always be a two-way street of give and take as you should spend more time listening and learning about your friends than telling them about yourself unless they ask you specifically.

Use pictures to illustrate your life each week and to draw people into your life as a picture truly is worth a thousand words and a video is worth a million more. I use videos to connect directly with my friends and only send videos to people who have chosen to reach out and make conversation.

Be personable and leave comments with meaning on your friends posts when they are updating their status or they have released a new note. This will add to your credibility and will show others how much you care.

People will only care about you once they know how much you care about them.

Add Value to their lives! If they have a need and you can fill that need easily then do so. Be compassionate and understand that not everyone in the world is as smart or talented as yourself but also be aware there are others who know more than yourself as well. Be Humble but also be assertive.

Facebook is about establishing a place online where your real self can be transmitted online to thousands of others and you want to make sure you give them the most accurate representation of yourself as possible. If you are insecure it will show on Facebook, If you are tough and a top dog it will show on Facebook, You control the content and your image but know that what you do also is recorded forever online and people will hold you to your promises and your claims.

Now that you have the basic Profile set and you are online with your Professional Facebook Profile it is time to engage your target audience that you wish to drive traffic to your website and make some money/influence for your cause.

Begin by joining groups that are associated with your website or cause and read over the topics and discussions that are already taking place. Add some remarks to already established boards and be sure to follow up with them if they are answered by the thread starter or other group members on a regular; I advise weekly or bi-weekly basis.

You will want to use notes to encourage people with your life stories and always be positive. People are attracted to positive people, it is that simple.

Now that you have a understanding of attracting people and being credible what do you do with that website you want to promote? Simple! When people engage you in conversations they will already regard you as a person of credible stature and when they ask for your recommendation you can simply give them your link and they will now have asked you for what you originally had intended to share since the very beginning and they will read and likely enough tip that old school funnel that many online marketers talk about and turn it into a megaphone as they will praise your work because they had been looking for it to begin with.

Sincerely,

Brian Fanslau of YouBrandInc

How to Become Qualified to Fly a Plane

If you're thinking about joining the mile high club, or just want to know, here is how to complete a successful flight. You can get instruction by going to a flight school at your local airport or join the military air force training program. Note: Many of the details on this page relate to the US only.

Steps

1. Pick up a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator. It doesn't have to be the latest version if your computer is older. First go through the flying lessons and ground school. You will learn a lot about the instruments and systems found in a typical trainer aircraft. You will become familiar with maneuvers and procedures you will need to master for your private pilot exam. Thus you will need to spend less time and money on actual flight lessons, which are quite expensive.
If you can't buy Microsoft Flight Simulator, try X-Plane or FlightGear.

2. Check out weather products such as METARS and TAFs even on days you don't fly. See if conditions match what those products indicate. That way, when you do fly, you'll have a higher confidence in the weather predictions.

3. Raise the nose of the airplane by pulling the control wheel toward you. This will make the airplane climb.

4. Use the throttle control to help the airplane climb.

5. Push the control wheel away from you to descend.

6. Push the right rudder pedal to move the airplane to the right, and vice versa.

7. Turn the control wheel to raise or lower either the right or left wing. This helps the airplane turn faster and is used in conjunction with the rudder.

Certification

1. Your instructor, Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI), will probably charge for time on the ground as well as in the air. This is not just a way for the CFI to generate more income. If used wisely, you will become proficient more quickly than by just flying. For example, if you study your intended flight prior to the flight lesson, you will optimize the time you spend with your CFI by having smarter questions and clearly understanding what you are going to do. Additionally, you should have (insist upon) a thorough post-flight debrief - even if everything went picture perfect. As you progress in your training these pre and post flight debriefs should get shorter. Bottom line: your time on the ground with your CFI is very important - use your time wisely: gas is expensive! Safe flying!

2. Get your Class III Medical. It's relatively simple to pass if you're in good health. No use starting sometime if you have a health condition that will preclude you from flying. www.faa.gov has the info to help you determine if you have any health exclusions. Thanks to WikiHow
